    The necktie fabric was silk,some polyester..no wool. I washed them with synthropol,on cold. Dried right away in the drier. I'll bet a cup of vinegar in the wash would work...Some say dawn dish liquid would prevent bleeding.

    I have been collecting ties for awhile and will make a quilt with them. My problem is----to many cute ideas out there for them. I serously have to decide AND get motivated.
