Cheerful color combinations make this perfect for a granddaughter. Nice work. Thanks for sharing where you got the pattern from and that it's easy. Doesn't look easy, so don't tell any non-quilter's. :-)

I am in the process of making one of these right now. Being that I like to take the easy way out when it comes to cutting, I made my squares 8.5 inches, matched light and dark, drew a line down the diagonal, sewed a quarter inch on each side cut and pressed. Then I paired up squares right sides together, light and dark opposite and placed them on my two inch accuquilt go strip cutter. Ran them through 6 pairs at a time and viola! done cutting. Now I can chain piece them together.
I really hope mine comes out looking as good as this one. It's fantastic!
