Thank you all for the lovely comments. It was fun to make and wasn't too hard to do. I had all of the fabrics to make it.
The pattern is called, Picture Quilts by Sharon Malec. The pattern shows it is made in west chicago.

I do know that Sewing with Nancy had a lady on video of picture quilts too. She did some fantastic quilts of jazz players. You might start there and see if you can do it yourself from a picture. (check her back issues of shows on video)
