And the puppy is a.................... mini chocolate labradoodle. It was the runt of the litter she is 8 weeks old, weighs 6 pounds and has blue eyes that might turn green. It will be donated to Joyce and the breeder is bringing her to us on Friday afternoon. There is such excitment in the house. Labradoodles are great companion/service dogs. Joyce still dreams of running a marathon since she was un able to run Chicago this year, now she will have a puppy by her sidemaybe in a few months she could start to run again (I HOPE).

    Thanks for all the input!!!!!!!!!!!

Ahhhh! There she is! What a beautiful baby! I love that curly coat- My babies have nearly no hair. Doesn't shed or smell, but there is not much of it. Something about the chocolate ones i just love. I hope she helps Joyce- someone to love unconditionally and be loved by is such a healing thing. (Not that you don't love her, of course, but doggy love is a different thing.)

Yeah for Joyce, and her baby!

Oh Peach - she is just beautiful!!!! You guys are so lucky to get her. She is going to be one lucky puppy - having two wonderful ladies to love her. Now you will have to make her a puppy quilt. LOL My dog who is 8 still sleeps on hers every night. LOL

I sent an e-mail to my DS with her pic and he just called me and said "mom I know you want to see me since I haven't been home in awhile did you send the picture to get me home this weekend cause it just might work?" Jim loves dogs and we haven't had one in 15 years, that is a long time. We had cats Jim is not a lover of cats, he will pet them etc but he is much more a dog person. Jim can't come home this weekend too far and not enough time but he was tempted........puppies will do that!!!!!!
