The bag I made is 15" x 14" x 5". If anyone is interested in a very similar bag that is smaller (10" x 11" x 3-1/2"), you can find one online at Maple Island Quilts http://www.mapleislandquilts.com/quiltpatterns.asp Their bag is called Wallet and Grommet. It doesn't look like that one has the piping on the pocket, but it is really easy to put it on, and I think it really adds to the looks of the bag.
The grommets shouldn't be hard to find. They have them at Amazon.com. They are called "Curtain Grommets" and are made by Dritz. Super easy to use. Only advice I have about them is that after you use the template to mark where you are putting the grommets, when you cut out the fabric, make sure you stay inside your markings by about 1/16 of an inch. Don't cut the holes too big!!! The gal at the quilt store gave me that advice and I followed it and they came out great.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of these totes.
