    I used a repeating 4 block pattern. I would have preferred to add another row to the top and one side so that the first and last rows would match, but this allowed for the most efficient use of my limited fabric.

    If your comment was directed more at the fabric selection, I chose 4 patterns from one collection so that they would match well. I have little skill at choosing coordinating colors and patterns...

    IM all for "cheaper" way of quilting and i think you did a beautiful quilt ! Is this fabric flannel or cottons? I still haven't gained enough knowledge to know fabric useage.

    Had to re-read again..ooppsie , u did said Cotton fabric!
    But how did it curl like that? Did you use an accuquilt rag die cutters?

    The fringe is created from the seam allowance, once the quilt is sewn together, just take scissors and clip the fabric every 1/4 inch or so. This quilt was washed twice - the more you wash, the better the fringe looks.

    AHA!!! That is so smart...clip every 1/4 and washed couple times to get that effect. Thank you for this info. Very pretty!!
