Great find! Hold some different colors up to them and see what pops. It looks like something in black would look good.

Lucky you, what a find, I would use some thirty material to do the sashing and borders. The butterflys look to be close to the thirtys material. Can't wait to see the finished material.

WOW! you have been blessed! I would sash it in a fabric of the same vintage as the quilt. Most of them were done in a solid color as to not detract from the butterfly's. I like the skewed look, makes it look like they are fluttering around.
