Cutting & Sewing Tables in center or against wall?

I have a little house we call the bunk house which is off from the main house. I have a queen size bed in it that we use for extra sleeping area when guests come to see us. I also use this bed to sandwich my quilts and to quilt since I no longer can kneel on the floor. So this limits my space, but it does help when Iam sewing on boarders.

When I get a sewing room again....right now it's all stuffed in the bedroom....I would love to put the cutting area in the center of the room. I like being able to move sometimes around the table when cutting.

For ironing, sometimes it's easier to have an ironing space near a wall for plug reasons if you have room to have it separate from your cutting area.

I use a ping pong table, and it's in the middle. I want room for the fabric to hang over all around.

Mine is against the wall because my long arm machine is in the center. If it has wheels you can move it where you want and then put it out of the way.

Lack of room is my reason. I'd love to put it in the middle. If I
did, I wouldn't have enough room to walk around it.

While I store my sewing cabinet against the wall, when am sewing/quilting I pull it out at 90 degrees. Actually it usually just stays in this position unless I have guests who aren't quilters. If I sew/quilt a large project I put an adjustable height table at the back of my cabinet so the project doesn't drag or weigh down what I am working on.

I like my cutting area so that I can access on all sides when in use.

I like my ironing board in another room so I have to get up and walk occasionally.

I also have my HQ in my studio so there isn't room for all I want in one room.
