Kitten's name isn't definite yet. Cocoa is the one we're currently trying out. Tried Inky, Midnight, Spook, and a few others, but none seem to fit just right.

Love your quilt and your inspector-in-training! I hand raised a black kitten when the mother abandoned it. Our kitten was so small it fit in the palm of my hand and had to be bottle fed every 2 to 3 hours for several weeks. She would hug the bottle with her paws and after eating would fall asleep in my hands in her "praying paws" position. She looked just like the little "tar baby" in the Song of the South film, so that's what we named her. Our little Tar Baby was very sweet, but could also be a spit fire. She had such a great personality. She passed away a couple of years ago and is dearly missed.

Adorable and thanks so much for the idea for a new baby coming in May in our family.
    Perfect timing!
