Would your post office hold them for you Janice ? Times Ive been gone Ive asked them to hold my mail and they have. I wouldnt want them in MY mailbox for days, esp as big as the packages are!! Too tempting!

We have a hold put on our mail when we're out of town. That way my mom (who feeds my cats and birds) won't have to worry about getting it, and nothing can be stolen. It's kept at the post office until the day we specify, then the mail carrier delivers it all. So far it's worked out well. The hold request form is online, so you don't have to make a special trip to the post office.

    Edit: Here's the link: https://holdmail.usps.com/holdmail/

Thanks Joan and moonrise, great minds and such. That's just what I've done. I just would prefer to know they're in safe hands rather than chancing them sitting in the PO. BUT if my neighbor doesn't get the mail as promised, they're safer at the PO.

    Some humor on those stories.

Love that Boom 14 quilt Billi.

thank you on the compliment of my hound. He is a hoot for sure. Now to get him done with howling when people come over. He is calming down a bit more when we go for walks, but still wants to take off. I know the trainer said no choking collars, but he is about to get that on so he can figure out who is who here. I did get a muzzle lead and that seems to help more plus he now wears a back pack so he thinks he is doing something. Went a little Ceasar Millan on Buddy which is making him respond better. Now to get the other pointer/beagle mix from being depressed. My gosh, as bad as kids.

This is somewhat nice, I get to be the last one to finish up blocks. Ha ha, you are all waiting on me. :thum bup:
I get to pick from all the other 4,985 blocks out there that are different than yours. What will you get now? (evil snicker)

Well, I see I am the last one left in the circle because my blocks aren't done. Goodness me. I am all alone.

Just a gentle reminder that blocks are due in my hands on May 16. That's not the mailing date, that's the due date. The blocks will need to be mailed in less than two weeks in order to make the deadline. Happily anyone like me who still has blocks to stitch still has some time. Please don't wait for the last minute and slap together something you won't be proud of.

    Thanks, everyone!

If I can make a queen size quilt in a week with 12 different blocks and fully assembled and quilted, I can do this. No worries here.
