I am glad you liked everything! As to the quote about everyone coming from MO, my Grandpa says the exact some thing. He says that everyone in this world is somehow connected to MO.
here are my packages received today:
juli sent me four fq's & 3 skinny eighth's (i love them all), 2 frixon marking pens i so want to try out, a quilting pouch, a craft keeper which i will use for my bobbins, an oregon postcard and a nice handwritten note. oregon is one of the 15 states i have not had an opportunity to visit yet so my postcard in going in my postcard pic album. thanks juli for everything.

the pic is up in my post but i will post it here just for you.
note: about this quilt, i originally saw it on another quilt board. the woman who made it stated that she copied the pattern from an old quilt she had, made a template and redressed the women in african prints. it was her drawings (no pattern) which i never got a copied of though she did offer them. but no worries as i can pattern draft quite well and often add my own spin when i am drafting a pattern from a pic so it is never quire an exact replica.
once the woman posted her quilt, it was promptly copied by another woman on the same board who offered no credit as to where she got the original idea. of well. now 3-4 months later, i have seen this pattern on several websites. it is a wonderful quilt to make. here is the link to the original quilt posting african princesses. the below quilt is a dfferent version that the one posted on the above site.

well i'm not sure about the world but certainly the upper 48 states, probably all 50. MO is the gateway to the west, right in the cusp of the midwest, divider between the northern & southern and almost dab smack in the middle of the coutry. plus MO has a wealth of history connected to it (lewis & clark, mark twain, tonto & the lone ranger [huh????]). yep.... all paths emiinated in MO.
