You can sign up to receive notices when someone posts on any of the subjects, get a Daily Digest, etc. I say HOORAH for the changes, keeps things interesting!

You know, I try not to complain a lot in my daily life. That being said----sometimes it just makes it easier for some people to be able to voice their opinions. Noone has to read what other people type unless they choose to. (To be honest, if I had someone to complain to regarding the jury commissioner for our county---I would be first in line. That woman leaves her brain in bed while she goes to work!)

I can't seem to tell which threads I've read & which ones I havent. Because I am one that doesn't particularly like change, at first, I didn't like the new look. Now that I have time to play I am getting used to it & will stick with it.

The only thing I could think of that would go against the rules is, "any other types of negativity". This is just a guess on my part... The following is the rule I refer to.
Trashing, bashing, ranting, raving, venting, steaming, and other types of posts that focus on anger or other types of negativity are prohibited. They detract from the fun and do not reflect well on our community.

This reminds me of how grateful I am to be a member with all of the other Quilting Stepford Wives to have a place where no one can rant, rave or vent to spoil the fun we are having while we, with a smile on our faces, cheerfully find the new places that our information is so easily located. Aren't we so glad to have a BIG Brother looking out not only for maintaining his profit generating QB but the demeanor of the tone of our replies and the subject of our discussions? I do so love having my fun being approved. My smile is so large on my face. And I sew while I wear a pearl necklace and high heels and a lovely dress like other Stepford Wives. I feel so approved and so fun.

Doesn't this remind us of the definition of a Stepford Wife? In our case, a Quilting Stepford Wife. With a smile on our faces and a needle in our hand (or sitting at our machine) we so cheerfully sew our quilts and NEVER have a negative thought, never need to vent, never want to express anger at an injustice that would deprive our other fellow quilting friends of a minutes peace of mind and fun while they cheerfully preuse the new QB and quickly find everything they are looking for and all the old friends they have had for so long. I feel so fortunate to have such a fun place to come to, knowing that never can anyone vent and spoil my fun. What a wonderful rule and how nice it is so exactingly enforced. There is a great comfort in being a Stepford Wive and letting the QB decide which reply is appropriate and which topic is appropriate and maintaining the fun for all of us. I just feel so protected and cheerful.
Now let me put on my pearls and high heels and dress and play my role while I sew - and oh yes - we also never have any problems with the new QB, do we?

Really? Page 62 and I was suppose to read all the comments so I didn't duplicate? I read several pages and it was sad to listen to the frustration. I try to be positive, but I also try to be honest. If had discovered this site yesterday, I would not have stayed around to figure it out.

Default Do You Have Problems With The New Board Too ???

I am finding my way around the new configuration of the Board, but am having a very rough time posting and answering threads and viewing pages. My posts and replies seem to disappear into thin air and have to be repeated and when trying to view other areas of the Board, the pages come up blank.

Has anyone else had these issues ? Just wondering .....................

It's kind of wonky today. Hope it's because of work behind the scenes.

I don't have the same issue as you but I still can't bookmark. I'm waiting for some help from Patrice or an administrator. I understand the instructions of what I'm supposed to do. I'm just not getting the same choices when I click on "Folder" as everyone else is. After I get that issue figured out, I'll move on to learing how to do something else. My plate is full with issues and difficulties in my life right now, so I can't deal with a lot of other frustrations very well.
