Love the block you made for me AnnaQuilts, thank you so much. Glad someone else has the same OCD that I have. I get started and I just can't get anything else done until all the baggies are finished. Wake up in the middle of the night thinking "blocks"
done so I can sleep now. That's a good thing

Awww, pretty kitty! <3 I have four of the little critters myself, one of which I found beside my porch, only 2 days old. Not sure what happened to the mom (a stray, I guess?) ... if she abandoned him or if she got out in the road, or what. He still had his umbilical cord. After waiting several hours for her to come back (she didn't), I went outside and got him. There was no way I could just leave him there, crying his little heart out.
I bottle-fed him. Fast forward almost 2 years, and now he's the biggest cat in the house.
Here's Kassaundra's block ... "Balkan Puzzle". My fabric choices are a little outside-the-box (for me, anyway). Hope you like it.
Edit: Hmm. Not sure how the picture got on there twice. Hope this deletes one of them.

Uh oh. Anybody got any of the green batik from Grandma Di? I think I used a "slide rule" to measure this one. My outside strip is 1/2 inch short. I have a solid dark green I could put on it but thought I'd ask first.

For MonaG ... "Solomon's Star".
The dark color is really a dark green that matches the fabric sample you sent. It kind of looks black-ish on my screen, but it's really not. DH recently replaced my fluorescent light with a brighter LED shop light, and now my pics turn out a little wonky, color-wise.
