It's supposed to be that way. You did that on purpose, didn't you? Looks hot to me. It's one of those don't ask don't tell things. You have to be looking for a mistake to MAYBE find any. Most people don't look for mistakes, they just look at the beautiful overall look. Which is great.

I made a "bear Paw" quilt. Two blocks had wonky claws. I noticed when I was half done quilting it.
Sometimes it's hard to keep HST's pointing in the right direction. It helps to keep a model block next to the pressing board, to compare.

A Bear Paw, or Cat's Paw is an awesome design to turn into a paper-pieced block. I've done it both ways and like pp-ing for this design. Nice sharp paws/claws.
