    When I make mine, I lengthen the straps. I use 2 strips of WOF rather than the 1 that the pattern suggest. I cut off about 2-3 inches from each end. This is what works best for me.

    I thought about making the straps longer because I like shoulder bags but I've never had one with two straps and I didn"t know how well that would work. Then I thought about tacking the straps together at the top but again I don't know if that would be good.
