The binding tool looks like one for making double fold bias tape. I think I have one. I'll have to see if I can use it to do binding.

I used to put zippers in military dress pants in a factory. I had to go fast or not get much money. LOL I quilt sewing at home when I was sewing all day. I still refuse to put in a zipper.

Now you know how Walmart can sell a quilt in a tote bag for just $20. I can't even begin to purchase the fabric for anywhere near that amount.
As harsh as it seems the workers are probably thrilled to get the work and the pittance they are paid. It all comes down to location, location.

I think the JOY of quilting wasn't on anyone's face. What a shame.

Go have a look at a quilt in any chain/department store. Thats what the finished product looks like.

I can't believe that people are actually impressed with these videos. I find it discusting that we as a nation are still buying products that are made in these kind of conditions and only because it makes it cheaper on us. freakin amazing!
And if we as a nation didn't buy them, then what? No factory, No jobs, and likely no dinner for these people.

OK ladies and gents, I found this presser foot attachment on Amazon. It fits a variety of low-shank machines and is only $13.98. I googled it as a bias tape tool. Read the reviews. The first one compares two different types of presser feet and is a quilter.
