Yes, I think log cabin or Irish chain, too.

Flying Geese with several different navy prints for the geese? With the lighter geese at the top, alternating all the way down to the darker geese at the bottom. The cream background of the geese blocks and cream sashing would make the geese seem to be floating/flying, and is very effective, it is possible to really see the blues.

I just quilted a blue and white log cabin for a customer. She said just do something simple since I am donating it. She said it wasn't her colors and not fond of log cabins. I fell in love with the quilt and got carried away. Only charged her for a simple quilt but was wishing she would donate it to me. (haha).

I have gotten so many wonderful ideas and soon have to make a decision and get it started. Did you happen to take a pix of the blue and white log cabin that you could post?

Shooting Star 2 from quilterscache.com. I made one out of deep blue and white, two years ago while my daughter was deciding what collage to accept a offer from. She had been praying for a answer or sign from The Lord. One evening I had the blocks laying on the floor and she came home and started to cry, when I ask her what was going on she said her prayer was answered. She won a teaching fellows scholarship and a scholarship from another school and could not decide what to do.After seeing the blocks(which were blue ad white and a shooting star)which are the colors and symbol for the fellows program she just knew. She has no ideal the quilt was finished, so wheh she finishes collage it will be her gift.
