    Very cute! I like how you incorporated the airplane for daddy into the quilt, and used the colors in the nursery for some blocks and border.

    Don't you just love that pattern? I made one for my daughter when she left home to work at the airport in Lubbock, TX in operations there; although I made it in all batik fabrics and she uses it as a lap quilt. I made another one and gave it to her friend who drove her from NH to Lubbock, TX - I figured it was a small gesture for putting up with my DD all that way. She loves it. Your great grandaughter can keep it as a baby quilt and take it to college with her. Fortunately, her friends have slowed down in the baby making phase of their lives, so I've had a breather, but need 2 more by the end of htis month. Back to the sewing machine. Great quilt by the way.
