Lay them side by side and use a wide zigzag and seam them together - the real little ones I save for stuffing pillows or ????

I can't bear to throw them away. I am always glad that I am recycling them.

The "batting tape" is very expensive and the roll is very narrow, 1-1/2"??. My LQS owner suggested to use the thin woven interfacing, the one with the tiny white dots on one side. She sells it for $1/yd and is 60" wide. I have purchased and used same and it works well and obviously, it is a lot cheaper.

I fold and pin the edges together and when I need, I just whack off 2", move the pins for next time. -- Use a medium hot iron w/or w/o steam. Works for me.

I zig zag larger pcs together, mke pot holders and ornaments with smaller szs and the crumbs go into beds for the animal shelters. with mother nature on a rampage the animals have lost homes, blankets and beds too.

I keep all my scraps. Scraps work well when I make hotpads or casserole totes. I zig zag the larger scraps together for table runners.

You can buy batting tape, or you can use strips of lightweight iron-on interfacing. I use strips of that. I iron it on, then sew along each side. Works for me.

I keep all. The small make good mug rugs if not big enough to put together for larger quilts.
