Funny. Where I'm from they call those yams. Gotta have some on hand all the time, they're a staple at my house. You' d think anything but "yams" when cut and pieced. Beautiful, rich color.

I'd leave it at the fabric store!!! Even though I come from a potato growing state I hate potatoes of any kind. LOL

You could make pot holders, placemats or one of those potato things for the microwave. Sorry, can't remember the name, long day..

What would I do. First I would say where did you buy it because I was born in the sweetpotato capital of the world ( Vardarman, MS) and I need some of that fabric . then make a pantry or pie safe quilt

Not sure I would recognize the sweet potatoes, but I like the colors for fall projects.

Me too or some sort of weird slug! Glad not to be the only one who saw the fish.

You could make kitchen hot mitts, trim kitchen towels, microwave fabric bowls.

One block wonders - stars - or - hexagons -or dresden plates with other plain shades of fabric added.
It would make a great rail fence too!

I wish I had some! I would use in my Funky Farm quilt !
    Maybe even as a border!

Make a food quilt. Yes, I can see they are sweet potatoes.
