    I'm no expert, but it looks PERFECT! Would love to progress to trying that one. I'll put it on my must do list for some day. (Great color selections too).

    That one of the bonuses of quilting--you can "hide" your mistakes--I had to take a pretty good chunk of the center star out by making a deeper seam where the two halves are joined together. It really doesn't show, but was the result of not having the seams all exact. After all the comments, I may get inspired to try a bigger one!

    Nice job. I wanted to make a larger Lone Star quilt so I made this very same kit! What a way to learn about the basic concept of piecing a Lone Star quilt. When I originally purchased the fabric & pattern for a King size one, I put it away for 3 years. I felt so overwhelm when I read the instructions. But making this one put my mind at ease. Thanks for sharing!

    Beautiful quilt -Lone Star is my favorite. They get easier the more you make. I have made 4. The last two were strip method-much easier.

    That is where it is really neat to try the harder patterns with just a block. If too hard they can become a wall hanging instead. lol.
