    I just bought a book about quilted curtains..it suggested getting fabric that is UV treated..you can get it in the upholstery fabric section..I'm going to do this myself but make them into Roman Shades.

    That french braid makes a very nice valance, love your colors. I think I could use that idea too. Thanks for sharing.

    How pretty; looks like stained glass when the light shines through. Were you going for that effect or did it just "happen" that way? I never thought of quilting a valance, but I will now. You've inspired me.
