    what size are your blocks? And how do you determine the sizes of your DP blades for the block size.? Can you tell by my questions that I would love to copy your design? I hope you don't mind.

    I'm happy that so many like the quilt. I was quite pleased. The blocks finished up at 11 inches. I used the dresden plate pattern from quilterscache. The blade template is about 4-1/4" long. I cut my green squares to match up with my pieced squares. I believe quilterscache says it will make a 12 inch block, mine finished at 11 so I expect they were 11-1/2 and they fit with no problems.

    Thanks Karenjane for the info. You did a great job and I hope one day I'll be able to mix and match designs and come up with something original.
