    Eddie,
You're quilt turned out great!!! I think you did a fantastic job in it. No one would ever know that you are a beginner!!! I like to add my labels after the quilt is done. I do them up on my embroidery machine and use leftover fabrics from the top, then hand stitch to the back.

I haven't been on much lately :( so am trying to catch up now.. first of all welcome!
Love the family sewing room, great idea and what a wonderful way to spend time together...or not depending on everyones mood :D
What a wonderful quilt and to think it is your first, you are a natural! Your daughter should be so proud of it and her dad
Can't wait to see what you have picked out for second daughter's quilt. Of course like I said I haven't been on for a while so I may run across that already posted. Keep up the good work and keep those pictures coming.

Great selection of fabrics, good luck with the project. I really like your sewing machine as I have the exact same one.

Oh,Eddie, that is one great quilt. Thank you for the reminder about the label. I just finished a quilt for my son and forgot the label but haven't taken it to the long arm quilter yet, so now I can add it on.
Great job! Keep sending us pictures of your works.

Wow!!! That is one AWESOME quilt!!! I wish I could get my mitered corners to look like that!!! You did an outstanding job, and I LOVE y'alls sewing room. It's so cool that you are a family that sews together!! My oldest won't even try, and I can't get the two little one's to stop trying!! LOL They want to do everything mom does, usually when mom is in the middle of something she HAS to do LOL. But I still love it that they want to sew! Keep up the great work!!

If I had thought far enough ahead I could have just machine stiched it onto the backing before quilting, but now I know for next time.

Now, I'm getting ready to start a quilt for my youngest daughter, Olivia. Thanks much for all the words of encouragement, they are much appreciated!
Well Eddie, that's how I always apply my labels. Don't know if it's the "right" way to do it, but it's MY right way. Keep on truckin', you're doin' fine. What a beautiful quilt!
