    They are 2 1/2" squares and the white squares are 6" squares.

    I was asked to make this quilt for someone as a gift for someone that she knew, however, she never came through with the money and I and my husband are enjoying this quilt on our bed. This was a lesson learned to never start a project for someone without a deposit or complete total in advance. So it's her lost and my gain now.

    love this....while i do love all the fancy complex patterns, the ones that tug at my heart strings are always the simplest traditional patterns very very nicely done
