Thank you all for the very kind comments. You make my day!

It's far from perfect, but I'm happy with it. My biggest issue was that there are soooo many things coming together in some places that I couldn't figure out which way to press. With well over 2,000 pieces, I guess that'll happen, but it bugs me! I feel like I've got seams going every which way. Don't know how the quilter will feel about that...

I love Bonnie's patterns, but the colorway she suggested this time around did nothing for me. So I started with a bundle I had (Collection for a Cause: Friendship) and pulled from my stash in those colors, as well as buying some more of the aqua/spa. Yes, Bonnie's patterns are generally for large quilts (I think she commented once that she doesn't really have a use for small ones), but several people on Yahoo's quiltville group make them smaller, generally by doing half to 3/4 of the number of blocks.

There are several free patterns on her website (www.quiltville.com) and they are really well written, very detailed with lots of supporting pics. I highly recommend you try one!

Very wow. Color placement makes this really pop. Love brown and red and have a stash. I will remember the very light fabrics to add when I do my quilt....
