I thought this quilt was gonna be easy. I was so WRONG. I was having trouble getting it to line up. This seems to be my biggest priblem with every quilt. When I ffirst put this one together I had a big difference of about 2 inch it was a mess. I took boarders out and re measured. Got everything the same size then added boarder. Only in one row I have a big difference of almost 1 1/2 at top. I don't want to take it out. So I am was thinking the area were I am short I will add a message saying to and from and the date to fill the spot.

Well sewing machine just hates me. It's not working right when I want to embroider to and from and the date. Thread keeps breaking. I am at my limit I am hating this quilt I know my MIL doesn't matter if its lines up. So I am trying to get it lined up it has to be right I can't give it to her like that. I think I figured it out but have to wait to baby goes to sleep I can't think. I will keep everyone posted.

FINISHED at least top. Can't wait to show MIL when she comes over to take me shopping. I am happy with how it turned out. On that note I don't want to have to fix this quilt every I am really seeing flowers after today. But is finish now time to work on baby's sock monkey and tackle my father in laws camping quilt.

I LOVE how you started this thread, and finished it with your final product! What a great idea.

Your quilt turned out beautiful. I am sure she loved it. The colors and florals make it so cheery, and interesting. You did a great job.

How do your quilt police like it? They were helping you every step of the way. LOL.
