Beautiful!! Great way to use scraps and make a beautiful quilt at the same time. Love the colors!

OK, just went to the site. How can a qult this large only use 2 yards of fabric in the squares and 1/2 yd for the sashing?

"Finished size:
  • 84" x 95" using 8 fat quarters for the star blocks and 2 fat quarters for the large center blocks and sashing."

It doesn't look like there's that much background fabric to me. How much background fabric did you need?

Large Center blocks and Sashing: (2) 1/2 yards (Dark 1 & 2)

Center Framing: 3/4 yard (Dark 5)
Inner Border: 3/4 yard (Dark 6)
Outer Border & Star blocks*: 2 1/2 yds. (Dark 7)
*Use excess border fabric to make 4 star blocks
Background: 4 3/4 yards (light)
Backing: 7 1/2 yards
Binding: 3/4 yard

Just wonderful. Love the pattern and colors you used. I really like the little treats in the sashing.
