    Such a simple yet very elegant quilt. Why hasn't someone thought of it before. I too played with my great grandmother's buttons. Guess I will have to ask my grandma if she still has them and if I could have them when she is ready to part with them. Thank you. :)

    that is just the neatest quilt, and i couldn't help but notice how straight the bottons were on. great job.

    Before starting I drew a grid on poster board punching a hole every 5 or 6 square inches, dont remember which and used that to transfer the pattern to the top.
