I love your reflections......the main reason I took up quilting is that I am terrible at following directions that require details....well guess what??? I have learned a TON of things and with all the puckers, goofs, unpointy points, crooked seams and blocks.....I LOVE my quilts just as they are!!!!!!

I did buy a McKenna chickadee block which was quite costly and prefused. Someone put one together at our retreat and is was adorable. A lot of us stopped at Keepsake on the way home and splurged on the bird blocks. None of my creativity involved but I love the design.
