    I agree with the comments made about using gray thread. There is also a green thread that is amazing for disappearing but I can't remember the color. If you have a stitch in the ditch foot that would help you if you go for the straight lines.

    I'm trying a fusible batting for the first time and you need to quilt between 2 and 4 inches. I thought about stitching in the ditch but I pressed my seams open so that would make me nervous...

    Do you have a walking foot? There was a blog posted here once "Thirty one days of walking foot quilting". Lots of easy, slightly curved ideas and even I could do them! I'm thinking the one named "waves" would look great on this.

    That's very cute! I am learning late to love orange.
    I'd do wavy lines with my walking foot. I'd use grey thread.

    Such a lovely palette you used, your quilt is spectacular. I think the orange thread for quilting would be perfect, I would do all over quilting(same pattern repeated all over the quilt) or stitch in the ditch.
