Great idea for using up those UFO's and handling your scraps. You say your fabric is dated, however, I spotted a couple that the manufacturer's are still making - regardless I love the colors and the fabrics.

I can't tell that there are any wonky blocks at all! Looks like a great cozy quilt. Kudos to you for using them up rather than throwing them away.

I really like the "old"fabric. It looks like you have had it for a while. I am partial to the old designs and go thru rummage sales, thrift stores etc to get vintage fabrics

I know how you feel about dated fabrics. I have a lot. I was at the quilt shop this am. Decided that if I want to use some of my stash I will have to buy a fat quarter or two of up to date fabric to give the quilts some 'pizzaz'.
