Thank you! I did not use a pattern. I found sewing related blocks from books or blogs. The blocks are 6.5" on the right and left sides. The large rectangles with the words are 18.5" x 6.5". The center block with the machine is 18.5 x 18.5". The border is 3.5". The quilt measures 36" square.
Someone posted the link to the tutorial on how to make the sewing machine applique a few pages back. You could always use one type fabric vs doing the patchwork to speed thing along.

I borrowed a book from a friend that had the paper piecing patterns for the pincushion, button jar, large spool of thread and basket (I filled with fabric scraps). I will email her today and find out the name of the book so I can let you know. The block sizes are 6.5" along the right and left sides. To find the large center sewing machine template, try googling "Ellison Lane Quilts. There is a tutorial on her blog and a template for the sewing machine.
I hope this helps. Stay tuned.

She said it was very old. She could not find the book to confirm the title. On the pincushion block pattern I enlarged was a page number and the words: "Sewing Collections".
I hope you have fun choosing sewing/quilting related blocks for your wall-hanging. Also, it helps to find sewing theme fabric so you can fussy cut out bobbins, thread spools etc. Have fun creating!
