I also heard if you put a capful of white vinagar that your colors will not run either.

I wish you alot of luck. I myself just took a class on doing the windows. I want to try thr secret garden pattern. Which one are you going to use?

beautiful color choices. I love the batiks you are using :D Will be another piece of "eye candy" for us :D and thank you for the tute on this. It really inspires me to give it a try. :D

Eddie, your quilt is going to be awe-inspiring and I love your fabric! It is one I want to do also, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the batiks you have chosen for it. I can't wait to see the rest of it....knowing you, it won't be too long!

Hmmm....I didn't know there were different pattern! I do have a book that shows the windows in different shapes, though, i.e., not all square. Some of them are rectangles, which looks pretty neat. Once I get through with this quilt I want to try doing something like that.

Here's a pic of where I am as of last night. Have two rows of blocks done, which creates 3 sets of windows. This is fun, really enjoying this.
