    I haven't made the quilt, but like many other posters I am also spellbound by it. One is currently hanging in the lobby of the Shady Maple Restaurant in Blue Ball, Lancaster County

    it is a hard patten.... to many variables. It took me awhile to figure out mesurement. But it does turn out pretty!

    I made one, took me about a year, I would get so mad at it because nothing went together, I would put it down and go back to it. I finally got it done, its not perfect but it turned out very nice. I found after making a few of the log cabins and cutting them apart to use spray starch. It was my best friend for the quilt. So my advice to you is starch, starch, starch it!
