I have a Jem Gold and a Jem Platinum 760. They 're both great machines, but there's nothing that can beat my little Jemmy Gold. I take her everywhere with me. Even on trips to visit relatives. She's by my side when I'm on my way to quilting bees and workshops. Nothing, but nothing, has ever gone wrong with her. I take good care of both of them and have them serviced once a year. In between I maintain them myself with cleanings and visual checkups to make sure they're OK.
I've had the Jem Gold since the first year they came out. The Platinum for three years now. Although I have a large, in cabinet Kenmore, I use the Janomes almost exclusively.

I have the Janomee 300E machine, have had it for years. It is great!! Does wonderful embroidery and is really a work horse. I understand the only difference for the 350E is it has a thread cutter. If you can afford it, get it, you will not be disappointed. I do consignment so I use my machine a lot. I had the 6600 and loved it, just upgraded to the 7700 which is a great machine also.

I have the Janome MC6600P and a the Janome 760 Platinum Jem. I love them both. The 760 goes to classes and retreats and the 6600 stays home and lords it over the sewing room. Right now they are both up in the sewing room working on two different projects.
