I LOVE the look of this block - but was afraid to try it after all the chatter. PATRICE - I plan on being there to see what kind of hints/help you can give a newbie who is somewhat intimidated - but otherwise VERY interested! Thanks to you for the additional help and Denise who put out the challenge.

Okay.. so I had a great productive Snow/Sew Day yesterday. We had a nasty snowstorm here so I worked on a Courthouse Steps quilt top and the BOM. Here are the results. I enjoyed making it actually. It really made you think, and I loved the challenge. My boyfriend was watching me make it and he thought I was NUTS!! LOL... hee hee he's right!! I do have a nutty side!! :lol:

Here's my BOM! I have 2 pictures here-one for 'how I did it':0)and, the other is the finished block. I chose to paper piece since that is still a challenge for me also:)). I have on purpose made '1' mistake. For those that need to go on a hunt...see if you can find it:0)Tag! Skeat[img][/img]

Skeat, thanks for suggesting paper piecing. I've pulled my fabrics and this block is on the agenda for today. One way or the other I shall post at least one of these this afternoon (PST)!
