Wow! Yes I'd say that was pretty labor intensive. Good for you for sticking to it and finishing it because it is a beauty!

It is quilted already. I was going to do a spiky effect but changed my mind. I do free hand, long arm quilting so I just did an all over design that was not too conspicious, sort of plain as the quilt does a lot of talking lol.
Oh..I took a closer look and I just can't see the quilting in the pic..which is the effect you wanted I guess. I sure agree with you about the quilt doing the talking...it does...and it speaks beautifully! I looked at the Colorful Quilt and all I can say is..wow...I wanna be able to do what you do when I grow up!

It is stunning and a work of art. Please enter it in any show you can . It will win something. I am more of an observer then a doer. It is a struggle for me but I keep trying even though I ususally say "I Quit" on every project. So let all your effort show.
