:-D Welcome from the Washington state in the great Pacific Northwest of the U.S.A.

Your fabrics are so unique! I love the depth of the color and the designs on them are wonderful. I enjoyed reading about how they were made.

I hope you were able to put a link to the fabric shop in Germany where you purchased these fabrics.

I'll go back to reading the rest of the posts welcoming you to the board. Glad to have as a member.
I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.

The pattern for this quilt is very interesting. I was noticing on your gallery another quilt with a similar placement of border/block. It seems like the left and bottom sides of the quilt are done with one type of border fabric and the remaining two sides (top and right side) are done with a different border fabric. Is there a particular significance to this style of borders?

What a beautiful quilt. The fabrics remind me of some south african shwe-shwe fabrics that I have been given - am thinking of making a wedding quilt for my daughter out of them. I wanted to keep them in large squares as they are too pretty to cut up. I can see now how good they would look against white.
    Thanks for showing us.
