    I love how it is quilted and the piecing around the embroidered blocks. This should win a blue ribbon some place! Excellent!

    It's beautiful. I love doing redwork. Did you embroidery the flannel also, and was that a BOM kit?

    Thank you for the nice compliment. Yes, I did embroidery through the flannel. I like using flannel because it hides the threads completely so you cannot see when you pull the thread from one area to another, but it seems to be a good stablizer and my stitching is much better. This was not a BOM kit. I purchased the pattern and all the fabrics were my choice. I concentrated on red fabric fat quarters one year when attending the Houston International Festival to get good variety.
