Finished another UFO!!!!!

I also like tea/cup fabric and woud enjoy coming for tea.My girl lives Montreal but she is coming here so I can not go for T now. L ast week I baked a gooseberry /blueberry pie and no one came--We suffered and ate the whole thing.
Traveling thru Perth Ont late May I bought beautiful pink
teacup fabric expecting to sew things for a local tea room
Today went there with 2 Brit ladies and found new owners
who know nothing about a "Tea Parlor" so think I should make a wall hanging.
Will expect to see you and quilt at later date. OK!

The fabrics for this was given to me a couple of years ago by a special friend.....from CLOTHWORKS - "LAND OF TEA"....I had the piecing done - did that last Summer...but needed to get the binding done...
I did a pieced binding with all of the pieces left from the top...it is handquited with a running stitch around the motifs and around the blocks in general..it was a lot of fun to do..
It measures about 40" x 45" and will be a table topper....I see this being a fun table cloth for a brunch on the patio...
I have some pieces of the teapots and cups left which I am turning into hotplate holders....great for serving brunch....
And the offer still stands - come for tea :-)
