    For the actually star, I chose a fabric with several colours and a motif about the size of my hand with strong lines. In this case, it was a nursery print with lots of yellow ducks. The corners of the border are from the print. Not too clear in the picture.
    I was planning to use all yellow in the background, but was too much for yellow for me, so I pieced the blue, pink and green strips to fill in between the star blocks. They actually have white daisies on them.
