The idea with music fabric is what I want to do in a Quilt for my husband but I want to do a silhouette of a singer at the microphone on music fabric. Your quilt is great love how you have all different colored fabric forming a pattern within a pattern. Great Quilt.

How long did it take you to create this?
It took about 6 mths. I have to laugh when I read the different threads here about quilt sizes made. I almost always made king size and only recently started making queen size. When I actually work on something smaller it seems so easy. I'm still doing straight-line quilting. My few forays into FMQ have been hilarious. I actually can get away with "slight" curves on my straight stitching.

Thank you so much Annya. What I did to make the guitar is that I took a photo and put it into an opaque projector to draw it on a template paper at the size I wanted. Then I made all the curves out of smaller triangles etc. to get the curve feeling without having to sew curves. After that I just sort of "framed" the guitar. Squaring it off at some point.
