    Thank you all for the wonderful comments, im glad everyone likes it. Now we are thinking of having it framed to hang on the wall, but I think that will be very expensive. Thought I would check Michaels & Joanns pricing with a coupon.

    I use 3M - Interlocking Fasteners with Command Adhesive to hang irregularly shaped quilted pieces. the adhesive strips see to stick well enough to hold up the quilted item, but don't leave a mark.

    Hang it!!! Sew a sleeve across on each of the star points going east and west, and insert rod. (I find cheap yard sticks made great rods for quilts. Then you can hang it from the top point of the star.
