    My cats like me at a distant. I worked while they were little and they became husbands cats. They talk to me when they are hungry and that is it.

    That is so cute! Jealous Kitty wants to know "What's the attraction? I'm more fun than a machine!"

    My cat signals I have spent too much time sewing by jumping in my lap and pinning my left arm down with all of his 9 lbs.

    Mine like to "help" with the sewing machine and the computer--AND when I try to hand sew or use the phone!

    Mine too. He is part siamese and when he wants to be noticed he begins to talk. It will gradually get louder until you say "What" then he comes and jumps on my lap. He helps me quilt, read, enter recipes in my computer, and of course is curled up next to me at night. He is a great cat!!
