Pat, this is absolutely beautiful! It is surely a family heirloom. I'm wondering, are you going to have to make more for all your kids or are you going to let them fight over it some day? :lol:

I probable will make more but want them to be different, and haven't used any of the old pictures from my husbands family yet.

I love the colors and design in your quilt, and putting your ancestors' pictures in it makes it all the more special.
