Thanks for the nice comments on my blocks. I was able to get another one finished today. I also got the fabric cut for the last three.

    Hi

Carriem you colours are lovely together it should make into a lovely quilt, with Christmas approaching very fast it is hard to find time to get everything finished. Hopefully over the week off over the Christmas break I will get the last 2 finished and it put together. I will be getting on for next week block on Sunday night as I and I'm sure everyone else will be very busy on Monday (Christmas eve).
Anyway incase I don't get back on I wish erveryone a Merry Christmas and a safe and enjoyable New Year.

Here is my 16th block easier than the last one.

It has been awhile since I have taken the time to say how BEAUTIFUL all of your blocks are! Patti and I learned a bit ago that the 4 inch blocks are not for us . . . . but, those of you that are doing them ~ what a lovely job!

While I was in the midst of the shingles I didn't care about much of anything. During this time I did give myself permission to stop making the blocks and make a smaller quilt. Here is my idea so far.

Patti took a break a bit ago to piece a quilt top using the Anna's Choice block from Rosie's book! She is still working on her blocks and I am sure she will post pictures sometime along the way!

jtquilts--This looks like it is going to be a very pretty quilt! Can't wait to see it finished! I was thinking about alternating sashing fabrics and doing a 4 patch in the corner (where you have the 9-patch), but kind of like the look of yours...hmmmm. Still have 3 blocks to go before I can lay them all out and see what I like...

    Hi Carriem

My sahers are going to be yellow with outer boarder is going to be black, that is the plan,
but it may change slightly when I see it all together.

All done at last. I finished quilting it today. I did take all the scraps and made panels on at the top and bottom and both sides. I love that I used all the scraps and love the look I got. I put a flannel backing and 1.5 inch binding. It looks so scrappy and I love it. It turned out to be 80x60.
