Joan, I have FINALLY finished your quilt top. I really struggled with this one and hope you like what I did. This thing is so big (84") that I couldn't get a picture of the entire thing, so I just took pictures of pertinent areas of the border that I did. I put a bow on the bottom and just did a ribbon border on the other three sides, with the ribbon extending around the corners in the cornerstones. It will be on its way home as soon as I can get to the post office on Tuesday.

Judy, I'm sorry it gave you so much trouble. It did grow to be quite large!
Thank you for all your work on it, and to everyone who did. It looks beautiful in the picture and I'm sure I'll love it.
I'm looking forward to see it in person, it's been a long time since I sent out the center! LOL
I will be watching for it late in the week. Thanks again.

Judy,
Your border is just right to finish off Joan's quilt. Your corners, especially, work well to "close up" the corner blocks radiating from the center.

Judy: Ditto on your border for Joan's quilt!!!!

I talked to Misty yesterday and she will be mailing out 2 tops on Friday. She lives in a small town and the post office is closed by the time she gets off of work. Friday's are the days that she is able to get to the post office.

Barbara: Once I get them from her, I will get busy on your top and get it home to you asap.

Blessings!

Well my beautiful quilt arrived home today. Thank you all of the wonderful work you did on it. Boy is it BIG! This is the first quilt that has come home to me that lays flat. Yeah!!! Don't know when I'll get to quilt it, but will post a picture when I do. Again, thanks to all of you!

Hey, I wondered if my top was still around! Good to hear I'm not the only one thinking about it. No need to rush yourself. Thanks for the update.
