Made a couple of blocks today..Lost two friends the past couple of days and not sure if its age or what but I dont do death too well.. I dont have much older family members left but losing 2 friends a day apart is hard...Hope to get to sew some more later today after i get home from work...lst is for Kassaundra and 2nd is for Terriamn

Joanne, I'm sorry about the loss of your friends. Friends are a valuable part of life & it leaves a hole when we lose one, let alone two in one week.

Each day as I read the paper & see so many obituaries are my age or younger, it is a reminder to me to not take these days for granted. Even when I have a slow day, I try to be grateful for another day with my DH. Got it a tift this week over $25 X 4 or 5. A fundraiser for school sports that wasn't worth having in our county. It was for surrounding counties. I dislike getting upset over something so simple that steals my joy, even for a short time, and I dislike school fundraisers that sell worthless stuff! With 11 grands, I mostly say no! I would have gladly given each grandson money, but for them to get the credit I had to buy the key tag. 100 dollars for track?!?!!? I bought one, probably will never get my monies worth. Luke said he had a French class fundraiser coming up. I said come back when you're speaking French! And selling chocolates!
