Thank you, thank you, thank you from every American who still has pride in their wonderful country and who is not ashamed to say so and to defend our pride to anyone who wants to hear it. Thank you for all the wounded warriors coming home, whether their injuries are their limbs or their minds. Thank you from the bottom of this proud American's heart for your great heart.

I can't stop crying. I can"t believe that fellow Americans would boo him and throw bottles at him. Thank God you came along. I hope he comes to realize that most Americans understand that freedom isn't free and truly appreciate what our soldiers are doing for us. Thanks much!

I thank God for you, your family, and the truck driver who reached out to help this hero. I cried as I read all that had happened to him and will pray for others
like you to show him the love and respect he deserves. Thank you for being what I consider a true American and representing others of us who feel as you do! Gless you and yours!od b

Thank you for sharing your story. I feel ashamed that our military has to be treated so badly for their devotion to our country. I also have family serving over seas and it makes me sick to think that people treat our military that way. Thank you for being God's angel to that soldier.

This story restores my faith in mankind. As you said sometimes a simple ride is more than a simple ride. Thank you for sharing!!!

Don't forget to wear red on Fridays as a quiet show of patriotism! (Some one said there are no patriots left) Help prove them wrong!

Doug, you did a marvelous deed for this young man. "When you have done this unto the least of these my children, you have done it unto Me."

My son is in the same division - diff brigade and currently overseas. I pray he nor any other serviceman is treated badly. We need to stand up for our military. Thank you!
